We invite you on a once-in-a-lifetime journey—a 40-day Sufi Trail thru-hike from Yalova to Konya, following the ancient paths of dervishes, traders, and seekers. This is not just a hike; it’s a pilgrimage of the soul, a chance to disconnect from modern distractions and immerse yourself in the Sufi way of travel: slow, mindful, and deeply connected to the land and its history.

Traditional yearly Sufi Trail Hiking Caravan to the light. Special opportunity to hike with the creators of the Sufi Trail. We will start in Yalova and hike to the tomb of Rumi in Konya. It’s to promote the pilgrimage lifestyle and also to submerge ourselves into the deeper meaning of the Sufi Trail. We start on the 1st of May 2026 in Yalova and end our 40 days hiking caravan on the 11th of June 2026. We will for 16 to 20 days camp outside. The philosophy of this caravan is to revive the old way of travelling on foot, to Konya. Everyone can join the caravan and pay for their own daily expenses. This can be food, accommodation, and other costs. As it’s a camping caravan bring your tent, only in cities we will have simple accommodations if needed. We like to leave a positive impression on the people along the Sufi Trail, this means we can have special cleaning days when we pick up rubbish along our way. Also, there will be a few marking days when we make road signs with red and white paint. The green is for the green Sufi arrow. This caravan is initiated to get easy access to start hiking this wonderful Anatolian landscape in the safety of the ancient tradition to travel together. Together we make a caravan to Rumi! Your fellow pilgrims speak English, Turkish, and Dutch.

Fee for organization and welcome package: €205.00 till February 15, 2026, after that period it will be €245.00 Your partner travelling with you: €165.00 (no guidebooks included) till February 15, 2026, after that period it will be €185.00 including:

Please note: The fee for the organization and welcome package is not refundable. You may use it for next year's caravan.
Not included in the price:
- The postage of your welcome package.
- Travelling and transfers to the start point in Yalova and back from Konya.
- Hotels or other accommodations
- Additional taxi usage with the group
- All meals and drinks.
- Travel and health insurance.
- Additionally, €24.40 per day for luggage transportation with a dedicated driver and two guides.
After February 15, 2026, €29.40 You count your arrival and departure days into the total number of days.
