What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
If you fill out a contact form on the website, that information will be processed in our email database and stored until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data

Which personal data does Sufi Trail process?
In order to execute your agreement with us, we need the following personal information from you.
- Name and address details
Your name is stored, your address and place of residence are necessary for the preparation of invoices, to contact us or to come by for a cup of coffee (if you invite us once).
- Company details
Keeping private and business separate is so nice. That is why we ask you to fill in your (company) name and location address when you purchase our products in the capacity as a company.
- E-mail address
We keep your e-mail address so that it is possible to send you important messages about your order or account. We can also use your e-mail address to keep you up-to-date via newsletters about new developments at Sufi Trail. Of course, you have the option to unsubscribe.
- phone number
We use your telephone number to contact you in an emergency or to ask for your input.
- Payment details
We store payment details – such as your PayPal and credit card details, your account number and your name as account holder – after a successful order. We also use other parties to process your payments, such as Buckaroo, Stripe and credit card companies. With an order we create both a unique quotation number and invoice number that are linked to your account.
Other data processed by Sufi Trail
We also collect some personal data that are not intended for the execution of an agreement. We do this on the basis of a legitimate interest or with your permission. It concerns the following data.

Some of the above-mentioned personal data in combination with the cookies we have placed make it possible for us to see how you use our website and services and where your interests lie. This way we can better adapt our website, services and advertisements to your taste. The consent you have given for placing cookies and showing ads can be withdrawn at any time.

It sometimes happens that we receive additional personal information via social media messages or via e-mail messages that we did not ask for. If we do not need this personal information to help you further, we will delete it – as far as technically possible.
