Ahmet welcomes pilgrims
Since the beginning of the Sufi Trail, Ahmet Yiğit has been a support point for travellers. Also in Yalova he has an active outdoor community that hike, bikes, canoes and do all sorts of active outdoor activities. Since we have the hiking caravan, Ahmet also has the camping place Ormanica. Ormanica is a great place for all travellers to visit or stay with your tent.
Travel History
Sufi hikers and cyclists with their passports can collect a stamp with Ahmet Yiğit or camp in Ormanica we have welcomed and hiked with some of our Parendehs, but many have been travelling alone or together and have met Ahmet.

Ahmet Yiğit
Ahmet Yiğit first official stamp support point on the Sufi Trail visited by Sufi dancer Alper Akçay with the making of the documentary Nūr.
These short movies introducing our support points and friends along the Sufi Trail are made with one very special ingredient: unconditional love! The crew from all over the world made this project in a fly, directed by the lovable director Abdulshakoor Alakkad. His ambition and talent needs to be expressed, and he made a crew to produce this amazing introductions. This episode is Ahmet Yiğit where the Sufi dancer and performer Alper Akçay gets his first stamp. You can see from the movement in the film and the enchanting smile that Alper Akçay is the best that could have happened to feature in this film. He is famous and dances our spirits for us into other dimensions. He explains about the trance and connection that sines in his magic works in the documentary Nūr. 1. Eco-friendly camp
In the middle of the Model Forest of Yalova near Kurtköy Ahmet Yiğit has a special camping spot. Sufi Trail pilgrims are welcome and you can rest before the hike or cycling route starts.
2. Official Sufi Trail stamping point
From the very beginning of stamping the Sufi Trail passport, Ahmet has welcomed, cared and placed stamps, also the organic farm stamp is available in Ahmets campsite Ormanica near Kurtköy.
3. Marking efforts
Marking the Sufi Trail is a never-ending task. Maintenance and keeping an eye out for marking that fade. Together with the marking team and Linda Pijl who has made many artistic projects along the Sufi Trail we thank our lovely friends from the Sufi Trail to keep the marking fresh and shiny.
